imacollector® Archives
The imacollector® archives bring together documented pieces, research and objects connected to Japanese pop culture: anime art, cels, gengas, dougas, rilezus, settei / character sheets, figures, video games, manga, artbooks and other collectibles.
My collection becomes a starting point for documenting works, understanding the craft behind them, tracing how objects circulate and passing on the visual, material and cultural memory of Japanese pop culture.
Documented Collection
This section brings together the pieces held in my personal collection and documented by imacollector®. From anime art (cels, gengas, dougas, rilezus, artbooks and more) to figures and video games, each archive is treated as an entry point into a work, an artist, a studio, a technique or a specific period.
Passed-on pieces
Some pieces leave my collection, but their story can continue to exist. Passed-on pieces bring together objects that have been sold, traded or handed over, while preserving their documentation, context and place within the imacollector® archives.
