Square Enix is engaged in remakes (over and over) but this time with consequences.
The revered first Final Fantasy undergoes excessive adaptations. Past versions aside, the PSP disappoints, lacking modernization. The plot is simple, the gameplay basic; this version doesn’t honor the original. Graphics are improved, yet with little effort, navigation stays challenging.
Although the exclusive dungeons from Final Fantasy I.II: Dawn Of Souls are present. It will only take you between 25 and 30 hours at most to complete the game.
In addition, a gallery and a sound mode will unlock once the adventure is finished.
Even if this title is not the best, it stays must have in my collection so, here it is.
