[wanted] CLAYMORE – Clare – Original illustration reproduction (unknown origin)
An object I’ve only seen once online. A fleeting image: an illustration of Clare in the water… I don’t know whether it’s an official piece or not, but I’d be very curious to learn more.

Context & discovery
While exploring other reproductions from the series, I came across this particularly unusual illustration reproduction (複製原画). At first, only a single visual of it was circulating, which made its existence all the more intriguing and raised doubts about its authenticity.
I came across it again recently while browsing Mercari.
Why this reproduction matters
It is so extremely rare that its authenticity can legitimately be questioned…
However, its second appearance in 2025 could suggest that it might indeed be official.
My attempts / frustrations
Only one website offers it for sale: rtvjgsqb (a shop with no real legitimacy), especially when you look at the price: ¥177,000 (on “sale”… instead of ¥300,000).Un seul site la propose à la vente : rtvjgsqb (une boutique sans légitimité aucune) surtout quand on voit le prix du bien : 177 000 ¥ (en promo … au lieu de 300 000 ¥)
An exorbitant price for an object for which only a single photo is available.
Then, in 2025, a Mercari listing appeared including this illustration as part of a lot.
